Course Content

 As a busy manufacturer/glazier, it is easy to keep working without checking that your or your employees’ knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards is as sound as it was the day you all started. Currency of information is an essential component of a strong industry and so we have developed a course that will ensure you have the most up to date information on Regulation and Standard changes. This course reviews the foundations of AS 1288 and AS 2047 and covers the changes made in 2021.  The course also looks at changes to AS 4055, such as the removal of TC1.5 and how that will now impact on design and materials. This training will also satisfy the requirements of the training pillar for AS 1288 and AS 2047 compliance in 2022.

 
Requirements

You will need:

• A computer with a sound and video card, microphone, speakers and a webcam

• An internet connection

• An email address is required for enrolment

• A calculator

• A copy of AS 1288: 2021 Glass in buildings - Selection and installation  and the AS 1288 Supplement
  (Available to purchase from techstreet.com or SAIGlobal)

• Access to Zoom or Microsoft teams software to participate in the instructor led learning

Additional Information & FAQs

Training will be delivered via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.  Instructor will deliver training content and participants can interact and ask questions during the session.
You will be sent a meeting request for the course date with details of Web delivery log in. Please ensure you have internet access as well as a computer with camera and microphone.
You will receive a training course manual with all the required course content.
Upon completion of the course, you will be sent a theory assessment to complete and return for marking.
Certificates are generated upon successful completion of the course and will be emailed to participants when a satisfactory assessment has been returned for marking.
